Scope of services

We prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, budget estimates and cost control reports from the drawings, specifications and information you supply. The scope, fee and turnaround for each engagement are confirmed in writing in our quote.

Accuracy and reliance

Estimates reflect the documents provided and market pricing at the date of issue. Quantities are measured using industry-standard methods. Final construction cost depends on factors outside our control including design changes, site conditions, procurement decisions and market movement. Estimates are a professional opinion of probable cost, not a guarantee.

Revisions and exchanges

If a deliverable does not meet the agreed scope we will revise or re-issue it at no charge. We do not provide refunds; see our Refund Policy. Changes to drawings after an estimate is issued are quoted as a revision.

Payment

Invoices are issued on delivery unless otherwise agreed and are payable by bank transfer or card through our secure payment provider. We never collect card details directly.

Confidentiality and intellectual property

Your documents remain your property and are kept confidential. Our estimate templates and methodology remain our property; you receive a licence to use the deliverables for the project they were prepared for.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising from an estimate is limited to the fee paid for that estimate.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
